If you use the correct global consumption rate of 100 million bpd, you get 10 $Billion per day.

It'a a lot of money and also money that many governments, shareholders, companies and workers don't want to give up, climate be damned. As the UN is pointing out we have a choice to go on unchanged and face escalating climate disasters or collectively be willing to change and redirect our adaptiveness to save ourselves and the planet.
