Dividend is at Pre-Pandemic LevelsEssentially a $0.15 quarterly dividend equates to $0.60 anually which would reduce down to $0.05 monthly and is the level the dividend was paying out before it was cut during the pandemic.
I thought I would mention this as no one has and I feel it is significant even if the yield presents lower.
Since then management not only kept the company afloat but managed to buy up a struggling peer and reign in their debt all while increasing share value by 300% or so.
If management had said: Hey, we are going to have to reduce the dividend for a couple of years but then we will bring it back and tripple your share price in the process would you have been on board?
I know i would have been and luckily was. ;-)
The yield based on my ACB is competetive with the highest found in this sector and by all reports is slated to go up again in 2023.
Maybe management isn't so dumb after all.
