RE:RE:RE:I feel sorry for you liked2think
sigh... the FS aint coming *any time* during Q4.  that recent high octaine interview video from Rowland - he clearly says "we're hoping by the end of the year, so Q4".

to me, that's introducing a nice wide window, almost backtracking.  but "hoping" isn't an investment strategy!  end of the year isn't technically Q4 either; its the end of the year. why muddy the water w/ talk of Q4?  *any time* during Q4 would be Oct/Nov/Dec, and it clearly didnt happen Oct, we're almost halfway through Nov.  like others have said, american turkey day would have a bearing on this if we're dealing with say, compass minerals, an american company!

yeah, the "hoping by the end of the year" - sadly i dont see that happening.  really, any time after maybe dec 15 is dead time in the market, i wouldnt expect any significant news Dec15-Jan1.  that leaves a very small window to finish this off, about 30d or so from today.

i also dont expect this to excite us retail much.  the FS will be most important to the company plus any potential suitors.  it'll clearly establish value and puts us in a certain ballpark. if this is gonna be sold, hopefully it's quick.

a new 43-101 would be welcome. updated drill results would be welcome too...

i see a couple of scenarios fwiw

case 1 - FS is received from company, shared w/ those who signed NDA/whatever/CA; then BAM, offer made, accepted and we wake up one day and we're at 76$ (or 45/55/etc/)  we may not even see a FS in this case!  and, if SALT is so hush-hush, wouldnt these CARGILLS and private companies NOT want to show what a wonderful investment salt is?!? so dont let the FS see the light of day!

case 2- FS is released, maybe negotiations are ongoing, or then again, maybe not. we get a small to medium bump in the market.  this presumes we're told precisely how much capex we need, but we don't have a plan in place to get 100-200M for mine development.  so we're a cash cow, but need 200M and have no plan, but here's this FS which clarifies things.  now what?  slow drift up? then we annouce we got 200M, plan to start development, etc?  then trickle up to 2-3B market capt by the time we start producing?

to further complicate things, rowland also says "stil drilling and pulling core."  that's a show stopper for me, and it should make us all think.  that's taking time and assays are taking forever, like they were in the summer.  that's delaying the FS i would guess.  in a good way, its a nice problem to have. but its a delay.

early/mid Jan at the earliest.  hoping for earlier, but the business world just doesn't move that fast... a delay is not a bad thing in our case.  there are dependencies we want to get right, and clearly the latest driling would impact design, and probably inferred resources. this interview was TWO MONTHS ago! that's an eternity, maybe cores are done, maybe not.  been a long time since we had a proper update, and he even said 'hope to give one soon' A MONTH AGO!  so things aint moving fast at all....

just my 2c, i keep hoping to wake up to a halt.  Good things come to those who wait!

GO SALT GO!!!!!!!

and we wait....and wait some more...
