RE:Trading volume Small caps are totally being ignored in this environment.  No matter how good the news is. It's like they don't exist.  According to a few investment advisor friends, individuals in the 25-40 year old range are avoiding the markets at all costs.  They have had several clients in that age group liquidate all their holdings.
