RE:RE:RE:RE:3rd QuarterTSL investors never cease to amaze me.
Guess I shouldn't be surprised. In the last few sessions: when the markets were down TSL was down, when the markets were up TSL was down. The unprecedented special dividend of $1.20 per share earlier this year is a distant memory.
Here's another TSL/DBM comparison now that 3rd quarter numbers are out.
DBM earnings per share 2022:
-1st Q .48 cents
-2nd Q .24 cents
-3rd Q .13 cents
Total for 9 months = .85 cents per share (9 mths last year was $1.15)
Since their 3rd Q release DBM has gone from $5.34 to $5,91 (TSX at 12:42) ... up 10.7%
TSL earnings per share 2022:
-1st Q .45 cents
-2nd Q .46 cents
-3rd Q .28 cents
Total for 9 months = 1.19 cents per share (9 mths last year was $1.02)
Since their 3rd Q release TSL has gone from $3.55 to $3.50 (recovered from a low of $3.34 this AM)
Where's the logic ?
