RE:medical chocolate bars..
RE:medical chocolate bars..I have the same train of thought as your link for Brussels House of Chocolates and to the best of my knowledge they don't have a pot and hemp connection and apparently aren't publicly traded that I can find!
It comes down to having the right idea which I think they are exploring and my frustration shows when I think of BHNG dropping this ball because they have a cannabinoid connection and award winning chocolates but should have been the ones with the story.
There are lots of potpreneurs that have chocolate skus but getting that pharma status to be able to command big dollars, costs a lot of money to get it over the hurdles.
It is my opinion that doing this is going to be the salvation of a few of these pharmapot hopefuls but the LPs and MSOs are most likely to win that race too.
Keeping that in mind, it only takes one reasonably good sku, in the right promotional/ business hands to make a successful company.
Most of these potwannabees are going to tank and take shareholders with them because the market is saturated with supply, a multitude of skus and hopeful investors and that is alll going to have to sort itself out such that it will be survival of the fittest and at this time it seems that those will be the companies that can raise money.
High risk investment capital is very expensive for the less qualified or totally unavailable for flash in the pan hopefuls.
It is clear to me that Jamie was expecting PBIC and AION to provide the leadership to move BHANG forward and it was also clear to me that they only wanted to coatail on BHANG unti they figured out that she wasn't doing anymore than coasting along.
Now that they are helping this to tread water is screaming for some invigorated, capable new management, hopefully with some cannabinoid experience or at least some chocolate experience and a history of success in public markets.
It looks like Brussels is noodling at a last straw effort but have the right idea imho.
It is going to be brutal with all of the attrition coming for companies that showed potential but couldn't get it across the endline.
Even the cannbinoid infused beverage companies that I have great expectations for are flatter than p on a plate but every major LP or MSO is moving towards these for their potential when the laws and access is the same as beverage alcohol.
In my crystal ball, I see cannabinoid infused beverages having a huge future if they can crack into the established bar scene. Sign me up for a CBD Shirley Temple type option that could help with my aches and pains in my usual wateringhole. Or a little THC buzz rather than calorie laden alcohol beverage and the morning after pain that comes with over-consumption.
The pot survivors have a lot of work to do and a lot of money to raise to be standing at the podium when this all sorts itself out.
I was very surprised at the pot hopefuls on the midterm ballot that only 2 of 5 voted for legal.
