It doesn't, you need prices to be magnesium metal prices to be at least $3000 a tone. I talked with one of the old chemists that worked for MagOne when they got 5 million grant from SDtech fund. Government needs to step up the commercial granting or they will never win the critical mineral war with the BRICS. You can't tell China to divest in lithium mines in Canada and then not expect them to retaliate lol, look how they brought magnesium from $2000 to $11000, so who has control and knows it. China.

he gov should have spent money keeping Noranda Magnola plant running through tougher times. Now the spending will have to be ten fold to recapture supplies.
