RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Everyone Is Starting to Wake Up Agreed, we have at least three potential mines on WF with decent to high grades all with open directions for expanding exploration, incomplete years old drill results and no public resource estimate. The information released a couple years ago was at a minimum very encouraging and now we're a couple years further into exploration.
CITIC no doubt has access to the information over the last couple of years expanding the strikes and can create their own resource estimates based on drill results.
I don't think we disagree on any of the above.
So is it possible some insiders could resist making a resource estimate public in order to expand ownership or take it over?
Maybe or maybe not but based on what was released a couple years ago and all the continued drilling it is very reasonable to think at this time there is at least some materiality here.
At a minimum with the current drill results we could no doubt make earn-in agreements with other players, resulting in quick increases to both cash and share prices. This is no doubt material if not publicly disclosed when an inside party with substantial ownership begins additional share purchases at the lowest share price possible.
I think we all would like to see everything aboveboard especially when the standstill ends.
Personally I hope we don't all get bought out or taken private but instead get to remain shareholders while Ivanhoe continues do develop but am well aware of how business works and the potential for compliance issues to arise.
