just to continue the thread, it goes without saying that it is perfectly valid to compare "magnesium" producers. But we have to compare apples to apples and in this case magnesium oxide is a completely different animal than pure magnesium. And even amongst purified magnesium, the percent contamination, or the purity of the magnesium is very important. Magnesium ingots are purchased to be alloyed with other metals such as aluminum to reduce weight and retain the strength required for the application. So it's important that they don't have contaminants which can weaken the final product. Purer is better in other words so that is also a question to ask of anybody producing refined magnesium if one is to compare one company to another. Jus sayin'
