RE:kol meetingHere is a question that has bothered me for years.
The combitnation treatment of tecentriq and the two other agents (one chemo, one something else) clearly has been approved and is in wide use.
Pela has been given to over 1000 people and has shown no severe side effects. Conceptually there should be no reason why the side effects of the tecentriq treatments plus pela would worsen compared to the SOC.
So why do a big randomized trial? Why not expect that T plus the other agents plus pela would have the same side effects? Why not allow use of this combo in a stage 2-4 trial that allows patients to use this combo while doing all complete monitoring to determine efficicacy and safety in more detail.
People are dying every day from this disease. They could last longer.
