RE:Soleus influence? They aren't known as an "activist" fund, but that doesn't mean they are 100% passive either, especially with an investment that is in their top 10 holdings. I am sure they are on top of it and are 100% motivated to make the best of the science driving their return. Unlike VC firms, I don't think they've always taken Board seats, but perhaps they have when they get involved at the private stage, which they have done with other companies in the past. I would love to see a top financially motivated shareholder on the Board, but it does stifle some of the actions they are free to do as non-insiders.
