RE:RE:RE:STELLAR METAL POWDERS - Looks very promising for PYRGreat catch!
Pyro's logo is on the top right of the page of the new division 3D-printing division (Stellar) of Aubert&Duval, a subsidiary of Airbus.
So looks like this is the one that is currently completing the certification of our 3D-printing powder. No more doubts. So once certification is officially passed (90% completed, 100% expected Q4), we will become their 3D printing powder provider for years to come. That will mean steady revenues.
Nov. 15, 2022:
Stellar® metal powders, the new Aubert & Duval brand for additive manufacturing.
After 10 years of continuous development, Aubert & Duval is launching a new brand name to the support the growth of this activity in aeronautics, space and energy markets.
Aubert & Duval is also moving to a new stage of its growth with a relocation project of its metal powder production factory during the summer 2023. The new industrial site is to be located in Oiartzun, Spain, 6 km away from the current factory in Irun. This will firstly enable a 50% capacity increase, and later to have new atomization units.
With this new industrial base, Aubert & Duval plans to increase its metal powder production by developing its strengths : a focus on customer satisfaction combined with a strong know-how to develop and produce innovative and customized alloys for additive manufacturing.
“These two announcements reflect our belief in the growth potential of the metal additive manufacturing market. Through the combination of freedom of design and innovative materials, this technology offers great opportunities for weight reduction and high temperature performance. This value proposition is at the heart of our new Stellar® brand” according to Adeline Riou, Global Sales Manager for metal powders at Aubert & Duval.
