Many Mutual Fund managers like to  get rid of their dogs before Dec. 31 so the stocks don't show up deep in the red when the annual financial statements are released.
Easy solution for them:  Tax....Loss......Selling, though I think they tend do it earlier that in the past to get it done and over with, so perhaps any such selling will be pretty much competed by the end of November if not sooner......?

We shall see.....
