ALWYN - ORES
In a 1950'S report on Alwyn,
they claim there's ( 7000 tonnes ) of ore above grade with significant copper .
15% of the ore contains copper.
I wonder if this ore is still there ?
7,000 tonnes
x 15%
= 1,050 tonnes
x $7746 / tonne usd
= $8,133,300.00 usd
x 1.25 cad
= $10,166,625 cdn
Maybe BMK should check into this... see if the ores are still ther.e
Run the ores themselves, through a refiner in, Sudbury.
SUMMARY RPT - DD RESULTS AUGUST TO OCTOBER 1950
Page - 49
The ore dump at Alwyn Porcupine is estimated to contain more than 7000 tons of material derived from underground work, which at present metal prices is worth roughly 520.00 per ton, if recent sampling results arc applied to the total.
Specimen selected for sampling carried plentiful chalcopyrite and bornite (copper content of the latter is 63.3%., almost twice as much as Chalcopyrite) assayed 1.91 ozs. gold ^82.53) and from visual inspection is estimated to contain I5 % copper.
Secondly....
I was sifting through Trueclaims report from 2010 - and was wondering if,
ETC could be looking for - chromite - in the Scadding ( 144,000 tonnes ) tailings ?
Chromite commands nearly $30k per tonne.
Also... in this 843 page report it discusses the - chlorite - and other mineral associations.
Such as, pyrite, magnesium, aluminum, manganese, chromite, to - chlorite.
Couldn't help but think...
will ETC's extraction assist BMK ( future tense ) when it comes time
To mine Scadd - in terms of - will they find a hidden nickel in the - chlorite - solid solution ?
Perhaps a tetra bond nickel with say... magnesium or aluminum or chromite or one of several pyrites, aresno, pyrrhotite, pentlandite ?
I'm hoping thier work will provide more in depth studies on ore characterization.
Expand on the - chlorite - furthering the knowledge beyond Trueclaims efforts which were exceptional.
I surely thought,
BMK would've tackled a resource calculation and targeted the gold and a few other
minerlas at Scadding - sparked up mining at Scadd...
This ETC move - has me wondering all the more...lol
If others want to sift the 843 page report - compare chromite values, or read up on the
chlorite in assocation to - nickel... here it is...
