Now I was also unaware how they can do this. Yesterday looking at TSX transactions last hour Cormark were purchasing shares at $2.80 $2,81. They could have put themselves on Bid and Ask one under Anon or other underwriter. If lower retail buyers or at $2.79 while sellers at $2,81, Cormark can influence sellers not to go under that level and buyers to move up if they want some.
The last 2 trading days the price only moved from 2.79 to 2 87. Just look at how many went out at 2.79. Of course Mr market can push on either directions for retail size Bid and Ask.
Maybe, this set-up permits them to do somewhat like ETF:
- Large qties BID and ASK to keep buyers and sellers within the market for small transactions.
- Stock price align with current NAV
