Uncertaintly is the main problem it seemsWhile different jurisdictions argue about how best to rob energy companies so that they can comfort their electorate's fears of winter blues, the SP is going nowhere but down. Obviously if one jurisdiction taxes when another doesn't, then there will be a mass exodus to the least to the no-tax state. If there is an off-set against tax for companies who  increase capital expenditure, presumably it would have to be in the realm of that country. All in all it is going to end up being so abysmally difficult to work out that we could be in limbo for months. Meanwhile, cash is piling up and at some point we will get our share as is only right and proper. Definitely a buy signal!
