We actually have no plans to sell any AQN other than trimming 430 shares of our 14,430 shares at some point down the road. As mentioned, up until earlier this year, we held a similar book value amount for each of our 16 stocks. I have now split our holdings into 2 groups and each stock in each group will have a similar vlaue when I finish the adjustment (it will probably take a couple years).
I'm still refining the groups but the latest is: (in alphabetical order)
- Tier1 (larger) - BCE, BNS, CPX, EMA, ENB, FTS, KEY, PPL, T, TRP
- Tier2 - AQN, BMO, DIR.UN, NWH.UN, RY, TD, ZWB
We need to add a fair amount to each stock in Tier 1. In Tier 2, we just need to sell that tiny bit of AQN (at >$14,00) and add quite a bit to ZWB.
Anyway, bottom line is AQN is still planned ot be a long term hold. Hopefully we can punt the CEO with the next vote. It sure would be nice to get Robetson back out of retirement. :-)
Ciao

-Thank you for your answer and your advice on the way to invest in the actual volatile stock market
I never have seen in the past 55 years.
-We must admit that ''investers''are'' very well '' informed to be able to make their own investment decision and not rely on analysts recommandations !
Noting that you are invested in AQN I'm ready to buy your shares a $ 9,99
If the share price go down I'm ready to double the holding at $ 9,00 and double up going forward !
This is what I did with ALA !for a ''decent'' profit and AQN could deliver in a pretty short time (12 months)
Take care and let us know wath is your decision on AQN

Thank you SargeX
This is exactly what I was expecting from you and
still a AQN holder after so many years .
As mention before this morning ,I' m now in the ''bang wagon '' with a small number of share but only for a .''.swing''... say 5,0%
By the way i understand the reason why you d'ont bodther too much about the market volatility and what's important for you is the yield you generate with your holdings.
Of course greath stuff !
Take care
