RE:RE:RE:RE:PakistanHaving offspring is the number one carbon intensive a human being can do . Don't hear that too often from the greenies or our politicians , do we ? Why ? Because if they even hinted to have less or zero offspring it would be political suicide . Why do the poorest people have the most children ? Because kids are an asset to them if the kid survives into adulthood . A retirement plan. It truly is disgusting . And this my friend is why we are screwed as a species. The climate is not getting cooler or more stable by eliminating fossil fuels. Not a chance. I am all for the gradual energy transiton but if we feel it is going to resolve the climate issue , well I have some "waterfront" land in Florida to sell you. Every square foot of forest you cut down and either pave over or make into cattle grazing goes from a carbon sink to a carbon emitter . That is forever . You never see them returned to their original state. Think of how many miilions of acres of land we have done this to in just a few hundred years. Sink to emitter. Now enjoy the ICE car you have . The EV's will be a thousand times less convenient and will solve sh*t.

The geographic location of said breeders is irrelevant.
Why are people in developed countries breeding, when there are already MILLIONS of mouths to feed in the world ?
Human breeders are just plain old selfish, there's no other word for it.
