RE:Something severely wrong here…Canadian investor interest in travel stocks still lag the overall market. Airline stocks are still in the dumpster fire even though passenger traffic is just a few % points away from pre-covid levels. CHR is one that I own.

Sometimes, investors are like sheep. If a stock is high it must be ok to buy and vise-versa, something must be wrong when it's low. Look at tech during the pandemic, the sector hit astronomical levels because work from home was forever and no one would travel again. Buying tech was deemed safe and everyone was doing it, except for me, I did not buy into the mania. Now, as life unwinds somewhat back to normal, tech has been crushed.

Maybe we are looking too hard for an answer here. Sometimes it's just as simple as sentiment.
