This only applies to actual investors who either hold for the long term or swing trade in some instances. If you're a short term day trader, my message isn't for you and it doesn't concern you one little bit. This is really for the very savvy & experienced hard core investors, who are looking to make the smart investment for the big gains over the long haul. This for you guys....
Right away, i'll tell you that the uranium sector will be one of the better investments & performing sectors in the next two years, at the very least. Anyone who wishes to know more on the overall sector, just browse my posting history and see my past commentary on the subject. There are valid reasons why i believe this is so.....
So in that light, we move on to the players in this sector, which are broken down into threee distinct groups. The majors like Cameco & Kazatoprom, the mid caps like Nexgen & Denison and then there's the last group, the Juniors & micros. I will focus on the smallest & most speculative of this last group for this brief commentary......the micros like Fission.
In the uranium space, there isn't many players in general compared to say the massive gold&silver sector. You can almost literally count them on two hands, most of them. So when this sector moves with a large inflows of venture capital, it really moves everyone in great strides & swings. For me when talking about the micros, the cream of the crop of that group, it's hard not to include someone like Fission, which for me is in the top three if not number one. Just based on the quality & location of their prime properties, you can make that assumption just on that alone. These guys really have great assets near some of the best uranium discoveries the Athabasca Basin has to offer.
Therefore, before you make a quick decision to sell or buy at these levels, please make sure you've absorbed the info above and make absultelu certain you're aware of the following. Now for the speculative stuff. Small entities like Fission, a highly speculative investment which operates in a capital intensive industry, requires constant infusion of much needed cash. Monies required to move their project forward through exploration & drilling. Anyone famliar with any mining industry knows this, this is basic economics 101.
With this said, please continue reading if you follow. Prior to Fission releasing their amazing drill results from Patterson, there were certsin things they needed to rectify. And this includes the ability to raise enough capital to continue their endeavors and move the project along within stated timelines/deadlines. So with the stock shooting up like a rocket recently, with good reason ofcourse, please don't be surprised if the company & its mgmt take this grande opportunity to raise much need money at these generous & acceptable levels. This is completely normal if they do and they would be irresponsible and grave misjudgement if they didn't take advantage of that opportunity. So just be aware this is something that has a great chance of coming down the pipe soon. Maybe one being done aynwhere between a dime & these levels, but it should hold about 0.15 until it comes.
Also of note before i go. When you see guys, trolls & dumb daytraders like Mr. ChefBoyardee96 coming into these forums yelling idiotic comments & urging you to sell.......You BUY with both hands as much as you can!!!! And when they tell you to buy......You SELL ASAP with both hands AND FEET with no hesitation! Just a simple warning to you folks from an experienced investor!
