...the ramp viability has already been established and proven, the drilling in my opinion is establishing the ramps location entry/exit point into the deposit more than expanding the resource limits or a combination of both.  At this stage they're also taking into consideration the proximity of the main substation and proximity is important.  Just my opinion...and CEO has some good DD if you wanna sift through the"I want it now" culture.

Thanks, we're pretty much on the same page then.

PRECISELY!  it's not anyone's opinion, it's what came out of the horses mouth!

there's a lot of noise after that prezzy, and junk to sort thru. a few key statements by some of the early folks in this, thank you for the input!

we're NOT waiting for drill results. well, we are, sorta, but like 2P and ned point out, this is for ramp placement.  gotta firm up that we're on firm ground, and looks like the drills are gonna turn to find out. dissapointing about the delay, and they said GOING TO DRILL ONE MORE HOLE, POSSIBLY 2.   probably DONT want to find more salt under the ground!?!?  we'll need to assay the results i'm sure, which there are delays, but looks like we're hoping to hit hard rock to build ramps on.  all that to say it's gonna take a bit longer.
dissapointing on the delay yes.. is it anyones fault? NO! these things happen. are we really expectin daily updates? cmon people, be realistic! drill broken today.  we fixed it 2 days later.  we started again. we stopped, sending off assays.

speculation isn't helping us, but maybe some knew back in August!? i dont think things have been broken since then!?  i still think a big chunk of our drop was due to spin out ot TPR; look at how much VUL drop back when red moon was spun out originally...id love to see when this broke down, how long, what happened, then map against the SP fall.

surprised the recording isn't up on youtube YET, wonder if it will. maybe someone w/ contac to IR can verify?  not rowlands most confident prezy, i thought he looked uncomfortable and a bit squirmy.  but he's delivering quasi-bad news so what do you expect?  they got a bit of 'splaining to do to account for the -60% drop.  thats just the delivery. the actual message seems unchanged, just delayed.

anyways, nothing really changed from fundamentals.  firming up the plan, taking a bit more time.  better to take the time than to get it wrong to begin with!  looks like maybe  change in approach in that they're now talking about releasing some numbers prior to FS completion? maybe some updates in numbers before year end? i'm not holding my breath... i'd like to re-watch that, also maybe a bit more talk about the going it alone?  hard to examine the tea leaves, these are organized, paid prezzys; brandon asking leading questions and dangling buy out for us retail?  that's surely a nice carrott to dangle. wonder if they're asking too much up front and now we might be shifting to develop ourselves? or at least talk about it to prove we're serious and maybe prod some big companies to open up the coffers and up the offers..

bottom line for me, at least until i can watch this again:

im dissapointed by delays, and clearly by SP drop; down in the red having been up big. someone has made money somewhere!  but nothing has really changed. this will just take a bit longer; Q1, but if we're still drilling 1 now and maybe 1 more hole, i can easily see this slipping late Q1 into Q2 possibly if we have to wait for actual assays.  they can certainly look at core to see what types of rock they're pulling but you prob gotta wait for actual factual confirmation. i'm guessing on this as i'm not a mining engineer, others can confirm i'm sure.  but that would be required to finalize a FS, right?  but we'll see what they can carve out of the draft FS until we actually get the final report.  and i still wonder if we'll actually ever get to see the actual FS or some co blinks and we get the magic halt one morning...

back to sifting thru the stupidity...

...general360...As far as the ramp goes it doesn't matter whether it's on/in salt, granite or whatever.  If it's in salt they'll just put a building up to protect it from the elements.  I wouldn't be surprised at all if  the plan would include, as I believe Rowly mentioned, an "underground conveyor" system to access with the ramp which would mean starting the tunnelling next to the port.  I'll wait for the replay of the Conference though to verify if that's what he meant.  Structural integrity...the decline could also be and most likely will be tunneled and reinforced as they go.  If you get a chance, Google the tunnel boring of "The Channel tunnel" between England and France...boring commences and they install culverts for long term support as they progress.  It could be utilized for Atlas but it also could be cost prohibitive but again this is a decades/centuries  long mine  development asset...
