It is not free pot for women but, in fact, free pot advice!
Not that it will make a lot of difference because pot is so cheap that almost everybody is losing their azzes.
Even the cartels are shaking their heads, lol!
Lawmakers were worried that cartel and gang pot would be cheaper so they allowed this pot circus to implode on itself to get safe, trackable and inspected pot available to consumers which you would think is a great reason to buy that safe supply rather than the crotch weed of questionable quality and safety and no inspection or trackability but it is so cheap, all of the players are going broke unless they are niching out into alternate forms of ingestion besides smokeables.
I'm thinking drinkables but lawmakers are moving at the speed of government to allow this in a commonsense manner because of some misguided notion that you can't mix thc and alcohol or sell it in already existing bars and lounges whom I believe are waiting with open arms for a safer, alternative vice that shows promise to not have the detrimental health effects that alcohol has a long history of.
I think the lawmakers are missing their point of protecting non-adult consumers from poor experimentation that could be similar to their first red-wine overindulgence.
Let the adults figure it out on their own, use the already qualified system of alcohol minor screening for pot sales such that only adults can legally buy thc products and there is absolutely no reason for building out a whole new bricks and mortar asset to keep pot and booze separate because of a few unlucky consumers who overindulged in having a good time and paid the price.
This misguided policy making is just the do-gooders protecting a few idiots from themselves.
As an adult I would love to be able to sip a scotch or two and quaffe a cbd beverage for a little arthritis relief and to curtail overconsumption of the alcohol. Or have a beer and a thc drink for a different, healthier buzz in the same bar that I go to with my redneck friends who don't like pot or drink booze for that matter.
I see a lot of cranberry soda for people who don't tolerate alcohol well or need a clear head for getting things done.
I bet that a lot of them would gladly have a cbd bevvie that would help with thier aches and pains or a thc bevvie to take a trip down memory road with a clear head the day after.
I don't like the complicated secrecy deals that are seemingly being rammed down our throats as shareholders and I suspect other investors feel the same and despite that I am on the bid for 10k shares of Canopy because I still see it as a leader in the industry who are putting total focus and resources to the potential of doing business on US soil. At one time it was with some form of decriminalization at the Fed level but now I think they are ready to test the water by relying on the same rules that the US MSOs are relying on, more successfully than Non US potpreneurs that are still reluctant to put their shareholders at risk of heavy Fed penalties if they get all protectionist like when they decided to pull stock listing on the NYSE for companies that touch the product.
The fact that the NYSE delisting carried over to the TSE and had them shaking in their boots despite Canada having a pot legal country for adult rec use.
That made no sense ever as does not planting our flag on US soil to take advantage of that huge pro-cannabinoid marketplace.
Canadian LPs are going to be formidable and already have made huge legal inroads into US areas that are actively building a whole new vice business, mostly targetted at, beverage alcohol.
Canopy's big brother Constellation Brands saw their future and was a first responder to be a major player in the Cannabis biz or at least the beverage side and the US should wecome the Canadian division Canopy Growth as good competition.
Some thought that US players would invest in the Canadian LPs but it seems to be the other way around because Canadian politicians have screwed this up royally, like only government can!
Big money or the ability to raise funding is going to be essential for the survivors. I see 95% or better of the junior potpreneurs disappearing but the big and mighty will still be standing if they put their shareholders first.
More than ever now, Canopy shareholders want straightforward understandable language to explain the deals that Constellation is actively pursuing.
Canopy and Acreage need to be acknowledged and protected and I have concerns in this regard.
