RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:.28I've been invested in this stock since it was Vanc Pharm but put a lot more in once I started listening to Galen Weston's pharmaceutical vision which goes back over a decade. This piece of his puzzle to bring point-of-care to pharmacists is a huge driving factor so while it's great Shopper's is involved it more for me the fact that the Weston family is involved. Shoppers just a small extension of 3rd richest family in Canada. Their interest in AVCR is huge to me personally. As well my aunt is a pharmacist on Vancouver Island and her location is one of the one's piloting HealthTab. She loves it and we talk about it often because I obviously have a vested interest. The biggest thing is the repeat customers. For diabetes screening she's getting steady return rates and seeing first hand how efficient it is.
As far as profit goes and it being longterm that's just solely my opinion and shouldn't amount to much. I'm mostly going by Bremner and Weston's projected goals and timelines. I started investing in the 90s and I've just found most companies I get in on during trial phases take a few years to build the momentum where I'd personally like to be.
But me saying it's longterm is a bit of misnomer because it's all relative to our own personal goals. I heavily reinvested around 10 cents about 6 months ago so really more than doubling my investment is a short term success. I'm just holding out a couple of years after the pilot is done and we see some longer term benefits from de-identifed and obviously having it expand through the Weston's other businesses. My eyes and hopes are Healtab being incorporated into PC Health. But I feel strongly Avricore, Abbott and the Westom Family are all aiming for the same target and Shoppers is just the first step in Galen Weston's decades long vision. But who knows. I'm not an a expert at this by any means. I'm comfortably optimistic. Time will tell if that's justified or if I'm deluded. But 2025/26 is when I'll be getting pumped up. Until then I'm just going to watch the ebb and flow.
