RE:RE:RE:Deep Anomoly Found my post from while back...
"Did a quick recon of other mines in BC along the same trend line as Casino, Kemess, Schaft Creek and Mount Milligan (All Mezoic Orogen). Think the best we can hope for in terms of grades are .35% CU and .30 g/t of AU, so not sure it's the mother lode but would make a compelling case to convert the mine to UG operation (using all the existing infra - so less CapEx than a greenfield) when the Casino open pit has largely been exhausted."
All the above are Orogenic deposits and are at depth - so don't think its a silver bullet, per say. If better results come back than the above am happy to be wrong and will add to the future security resource case. IMHO, I think the deep MT anomaly is a bit of a distraction as the real value is in the easily accessible already identified reserves which can be harvested via cheaper open pit mining techniques - remeber the anomaly is ~800m down and a further 1300m down to the end point - 2100 metres in total which would if it came off put it in the top 25 deepest UG mines in the world.
