RE:RE:Interesting PricingMigraine....yep....things are different around the world as they set the the pricing to capture as much area under the demand curve as possible to maximize oligopoly pricing.
In Europe, like what you say in Thailand, the basic gas is 95 octane and high test is 97. North America is different in this regard.
As I mentioned in a post a while back, in Spain, the diesel prices were about the same or cheaper than regular gas (95 octane) compared to the 56 cent/litre difference now where I live. Really begs the question - "Why such a difference?"
No wonder there is food inflation here and the example provided by Obscure at the grocery store.
