RE:RE:Politics I listened in to the Halton Regional Council meeting from Nov 9.
The slide presentation that has the land use change maps starts at the 33 to 35 min mark.
Page six covers Rattlesnake at around minute 37.5. They have included employment along the Highway 25 frontage.
Council is miffed, but, have little to do. They are losing their powers.
The history of this is that the Regional council is stacked with more councilors from NIMBY centric Oakville and Burlington. They love to boast of their no sprawl green policies.
This left Milton bitterly complaining to the Ministry early this year. The region ignored their planning concerns. The ministry did this as a a tacit giant MZO.
The Council cobbled up a letter of concern as a course of action. I believe the Milton councillors voted no to sending the letter.
It is worth listening to the initial presentations, the questions later are a waste of time.
This is a significant bonus. Could be $10 a share or higher to the NAV.
