RE:RE:RE:RE:Maybe John Jr did learn something in business school. . . If these small retailers are able to compete so strongly why are so many of them closing their doors while DN is growing?  Why is that Jon has recently said they are getting offers daily with small stores looking to sell?

Have you heard of economies of scale?  DN competes very strongly in MB due to low cost production and short shipping routes.

In spite of all the mismanagement and missteps they cannot compete with all of the small retailers in this country. You can purchase most of their product at any corner store or store front in Winnipeg & I'm sure they don't have shareholders to satisfy. They just sell it like a quart of milk.
How come liquors & lotteries control sales of those products, but cannibas has none of those restrictions or protections. (not enforced anyway) They legalized the product and made a bunch of laws that only apply and harm those that are forced to live by them. We'd be further ahead selling from a food truck.
