What is the difference between synthetic nicotine&tobacco-derived nicotine?

There is no difference between synthetic nicotine (SN) & tobacco-derived nicotine (TDN) in terms of effects. Because it is created to model the nicotine chemical structure, it works on the body the same way. The difference is really in just how the product is made. So how is it made?
