I notice a little bit of Eastern Canadain bias my friend.

EV may be the way of the future but we're talking decades before you will see them over take ICE vehicles.  At lest in Canada, by that time it won't matter I'll be sitting on a beach somewhere enjoying being away from the cold.  Thanks to my CVE/SU shares.

Excuse me got to warm up the truck.  Not a lot of fun being a production operator in the winter but we got to keep the gas and oil flowing

Perhaps...

But Ford is now delivering EV trucks and TSLA will be shipping its semis starting tomorrow so actually I think it is highly possible that the adoption of EVs in the truck market may in fact be faster than for cars. The reason? People driving trucks tend to be more in tune with the costs of ownership and the math is pretty compelling (eg the TSLA semi has a payback period of 2 years or less).
