Graphite demand - GEMS hits massive graphite and more

Graphite demand - GEMS hits massive graphite and more

EV demand is only going up from here - graphite along with many other battery metals in GEMS project portfolio will all play a role in meeting demand needs. Definitely gotta keep an eye on the Rockstone Graphite Project which recently hit massive graphite. The drill program at Rockstone was also expanded with an additional drill hole due to this observed mineralization.

Currently the steel industry is the number one source of demand for graphite, but analysts expect lithium-ion batteries will overtake steel for demand of graphite. Benchmark also expects demand for graphite to see a compunded growth rate of 10.5% with supply laggin behind at 5.7%. By 2025, the battery industry is set to consume 2/3rds of the world's flake graphite which could increase to nearly 80% by 2030.

GEMS.c could play a role in easing supply concerns for graphite and other important battery metals.
