Sven is not comparing Tehachapi to LA. If you have a job in LA and can't afford an $850,000 home, guess where you are moving if you want a safe neighborhood? The middle class has been moving North and East for years now. Guess what that's doing to home prices a couple hours from the city? Helps if you've lived there to understand the problem.
