Monument Mining Limited is a Canadian gold producer that 100% owns and operates the Selinsing Gold Mine in Malaysia and the Murchison Gold Project in the Murchison area of Western Australia. It has a 20% interest in Tuckanarra Gold Project, jointly owned with Odyssey Gold Ltd in the same region. Located in the Central Gold Belt of Western Malaysia, the Selinsing Gold Mine covers a total area of approximately 150.3 square kilometers (km2) and includes the Selinsing, Buffalo Reef, Felda Land, Peranggih and Famehub properties. The Murchison Gold Project includes the Burnakura, Gabanintha, and Tuckanarra properties, which are located in the Murchison goldfield of Western Australia, 40 kilometers (km) southeast of Meekatharra and approximately 765km northeast of Perth. Buffalo Reef lies continuously and contiguously along the gold trend upon which the Selinsing Gold Property is located. Both Felda and Famehub are located east and north of the Selinsing and Buffalo Reef properties.

RE:Action is RequiredThis document discusses exactly what we are talking about. It's from 1986, though, and I have no idea what is common practice now. There are indeed (or were at the time, anyway) a few factors that could result in an appraised fair value over market price, but it would be a big, expensive, and very much uncertain fight to convince a court to adopt them.

If you knew you were going to do (or would have to do) something like this, might you slowly push the SP down for say a year or so, even at the cost of some loss. And if you were doing that, you certainly wouldn't be buying shares. Now, you might give yourself some cheap options, but you know... Anyway, it sure would be nice to know we have such clever 3D chess players at the helm because just imagine how successful the company might be if they turned their minds to running it!
