Take the following excerpt from Yahoo Finance:

Stainless steel mill would be the bulk of their sales, so better chromium rates are meaningful to the bottom line. The globe has become to dependent on Indonesia, the time is ripe for investing in an alternative for security stake. There is nothing glamorous or sexy about stainless steel to momentum trader/players, they want to hear about nickel going to EV batteries. Thus, the lack of market response to the news. If Crawford ever makes it in to production, it will be to feed stainless steel mill(s). For that, they also need chromium.
