SDE, Energy sector, small caps, large capsSDE's market cap is about $2 billion, so SDE is a small cap stock and history says that the small caps have outperformed large caps coming out of recessions 6 out of the last 6 times, according to this good Seeking Alpha article below:

As linked above, the small-cap Russell 2000 index outperformed the major indices in 2022, and Wall Street believes that the small-caps continue to be a better play than the large-caps in the foreseeable future, which bodes well for SDE.

In other words, I believe that SDE will outperform the large cap stocks from the energy sector in the foreseeable future.
