The joy of low float stock.

The joy of low float stock. A while back I made a change in strategy seeking to lower risk as market prospects were unclear, at least to moi.   I reduced my exposure to precious metals by keeping only one exploration outfit.  What I found interesting was that all three stock I held all had low float, and together gained 25% in November.  I decided to put TFPM (55K) on my board and started buying on the tenth, went with AAON (166K) a few months back, and VRR (avg. vol. 51K).   What really restraints trade in AAON is that it is 75% funds owned.

So, what seems to me was happening is that the low float produced increased volatility with rapid regaining of upward trend.   Was the gain and low float just a coincident or the manifestation of a fundamental relationship?  I don’t know.
