RE:Dauphin store …, Delta 9 is of a certain size of company now that a single store opening is not really newsworthy in my opinion. They only make themselves look small as a company when they news release a single store opening.
Opening a store is not that capital intensive when renting or leasing a space that is already retail purposed.
That's why, imo, Delta 9's purchase of three stores for over a million dollars each made ZERO sense, completely reckless -- that was at 0.7 times sales iirc. To add insult to injury, they used their stock as currency to pay for the stores when their stock was trading at 0.3 times sales. And to cap it off they insult our intelligence by proclaiming how great of deal these stores were when paying 0.7 times sales! Someone is mathematicaly challenged over there....
Now with the seller of those stores trying to unload 20 million DN shares, the SP is down 50% since the transaction and we are trading at less than 0.2 times sales. Listen to the market John. Its telling you that you are effing up, big time.
Delta 9's future as a viable business is not dependent on store location growth as this strategy has only proven to produce greater losses and massive shareholder dilution under this management
Delta 9's future will depend on them proving their business model by producing actual real net profits. Something critical to survival that they have not been able produce yet.
