New Found Gold Corp. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and evaluation of resource properties with a focus on gold properties located in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The Company holds a 100% interest in the Queensway Project, which comprises an approximately 1,662 square kilometers area, located about 15 kilometers (km) west of Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, and just 18 km from Gander International Airport. The Queensway Project is divided by Gander Lake into Queensway North and Queensway South. The Company also owns a 100% interest in the Kingsway property, which consists of 264 claims on three licenses covering approximately 77 square kilometers. The project is located approximately 18km northwest of the town of Gander, Newfoundland. The Company is undertaking a 650,000-meter drill program on Queensway. It has royalty interests underlying Keats South and several additional zones in Queensway.

I don't disagree. Drilling at angles towards a particular area of interest often gives the geos much more info on structural layout than a simple up and down. (Back in the day, wasn't it reported that Noranda was doing straight up and downers on what became NFG property (at Keats?).

I would fully expect the drills to go down at angle - but the thing that QH was noting was that there was such an obvious gap...and why is that?

Mind you, he did say that he only twigged it the night before when looking at that marvelous 3D rotational schemata that NFG provided. Easy to miss until he rotated it a certain way...and said "Why's that?" Likely never would have been seen without the 3D! Rare would be the bird that could have worked all that out off the cuff in his head!

So, a nod's as good as a wink...pop some holes and have a look! And they could be dusters - but at least we'll know.

It makes sense to me if the veins are only so wide, and you hit them when going on an angle.

I am not a geo or anything close, but it's common sense.
