RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Disaster?The high net worth people, US or otherwise, don't need to be gotten in front of.
Without good results they won't give a hoot.
Give them good results and they'll find the story by themselves very quickly.
People know about Quarterhill. They don't need to be taught. What they do need is the results that will inspire them to read up a little further on the subject.
==========
The "get in front of eyeballs" narrative is actually kind of elitist. It's sort of like, "we here, the elect, we see the truth about Quarterhill; management has to just get in front of those uninitiated rich people and they will magically see it too."
I like Quarterhill but, here, I'll give you another name. Take a look at Vertex Resource Group. VTX on the TSX Venture Exchange. If you annualize their Q3 results, which is probably reasonable, they're currently trading at 5.5x EPS and 23% of sales. Environmental services and consulting. Like ITS, an industry of the future. FWIW, the two companies are similar in size--sales of around $240 million.
Vertex is sort of like a poor man's Stantec. Just as Quarterhill ITS is a poor man's TransCore.
So which is the better buy? Quarterhill or Vertex? Suddenly not so easy, eh?
Those stinkin' rich people, they understand these kinds of difficult choices. Let's not assume they don't know what they're doing.
