Like you, I anticipate having a significant loss. 
 
As for "journalling" CDN shares to OTC-U.S., I don't know the answer for sure but anticipate the Cease Trade Order would freeze transactions in any form. 
Sure hope you do have success with your request and look fook forward to learning how it goes.

I do not expect the company to resume trading.
If it is their intent, and they are genuinely able to resolve Security Exchange issues, I believe they would be transparent to preserve credibility.   

While I would love to be wrong, my sense continues to be: 
Because our security exchanges have inadequate staff, both in terms of numbers and legal training, it is likely Australis/Audacious et al will continue to operate "As Though They Were A Private Company".
This is in spite of the fact they were created as a publicly trading company with the capacity to solicit investment through stock exchanges.
