RE:RE:Global Biomass and renewable scams now hitting on oil price!Biomass is generally renewable ie the corn husks and stalks and sometimes cobbs as opposed to the corn (which can be used also) which is generally used for feed or fructose.
It is planted and harvested at intervals throughtout the year depending on seaonality and is renewable.
A lot of biomass is the scraps from harvested material. Literally the chaffe from the wheat.
You are correct that it has nothing to do with VET with the possible exception that renewable energy in sufficient quantities could replace VET's production by 2050 or so.
2050! LOL stick with VET

All these news have immediate effects on oil price, because there are bears working hard on this too. Shorts will do everything possible to get back their money before oil rises again. So, as I told before, patience is crucial here. All the weak hands will be shaken down this week.
Someone may consider this off topic on an energy board but here goes anyway.
"Biomass is plant-based material used as fuel to produce heat or electricity. Examples are wood and wood residues, energy crops, agricultural residues, and waste from industry, farms and households. Since biomass can be used as a fuel directly, some people use the words biomass and biofuel interchangeably. Wikipedia"
I wonder about the logic at times. Trees, bushes, plants all use CO2 for life ie. they absorb the carbon dioxide. Biomass harvestors which supposedly are a "green" initiative are completely wiping out thousands of acres of scrub growth -- the scrub growth which was absorbing the carbon dioxide. Is there some logic to the logic here?
