@cargo Another very interesting linkedIn post... Not only does it mention that their is already a shortage happening with graphite that will only continue to balloon (talk about a bottle neck) It also mentions that the EV sector will need >1.7m metric tons of graphite by 2030. Here is the crazy part they also give a chart on how increasing the percentage of silicon in the anode will drastically effect the amount graphite the EV industry will need:) $HPQ "If 30% silicon is used in the anode (the current direction for the industry), anode material demand in 2030 would be a little over 500kmt"
