RE:Why did it take so long?No drop in the A shares though.  Dividend payout is clearly defined (0.60 or 90% of earnings whichever is higher). They actually paid over that. The gap between A and B share trading price had narrowed quite a bit in the last months but has now opened back up. A shares probably better reflects the true value. B shares is just investor sentiment. Company is a money printing machine. PR seems perfectly content to let Corby management do the work while they just sit back and collect the commissions and dividends. If Corby could figure out how to start growing their organic business faster then PR might consider stepping in with a buyout offer. Until then status quo.... fine by me.
