Jobs are available everywhere who wants one, people are working, many at higher wages. On the heels of being locked down like animals in a zoo for over 2 years, the price to travel freeeeely next year, despite inflation, will be paid up for in record numbers.

I also think that we just entered a bear market since lot a of money moved from stocks into bonds and GIC's and simply there is not enough liquidity to push stocks much higher. The ball less investors moved their money into GIS's.. If you look at the terms one year GIC pays more than 2,3,4,5 term. That tells me that the high interest rates are not sustainable simply too much debt around . I believe in the first quarter of 2024 inflation will be in line and banks start lowering rates again to stimulate the growth. Till then i will wait and hydrate collecting dividends.
