From my understanding of what i read and Mr Hamelin's quotes Abcourt is putting all of its effort into being a gold producer.
On a late friday(beers) it is harder for me to remember all the english words and what i have read in the past but i remember that it takes +- $15-$20m to start Sleeping Giant and the return on investment is 0.7 years.
I also remember that the investment needed to restart Barvue is +- $40-$50m and the return is 5 years and there is probably environmental issues that could prevent restarting Barvue easily.
So if my thinking is right Abcourt could have a 100% return on investment in less than a year on SG
but less than 20% on Barvue.
Barvue has less than 20m oz silver and the yearly production would be +- 2m oz.
Yes if Barvue could be seperated from the gold properties it could be a + but not a co maker.
If you have different views and calculation please post.
