IMO HPQ is not a mining company but a tech company and the new agreement is for a year and can be terminated by either party.
It sale involved mining claims and was property not being used by HPQ and yes I would like to have had cash but the shares will do
Now if you want to point at something specific vs innuendo as to why the shareholders of HPQ are compromised by this, please say so clearly.
