RE:Withholding TAX on TFSA

I was in HOT.UN for many years.  There was no withholding tax in RRSP.  There was in TFSA and of course, regular investing account.  My experience agrees with what you say, however, maybe there has been a rule change. 

I have recently reentered HOT.UN but only in a regular investing account.  I expect withholding.  However, it is lessened but not eliminated if you have filled out a W-8BEN-E.  That is the way it was before.  Again, maybe there has been a rule change.  I will find out soon enough as will everybody else who holds this and collects the distributions.
