I guess your only solution is to hang on to what you've got for now anyways. Still, a couple of months to go before this deal is done and then it may not be. The vote will tell all. 

Institution investors own ~44%. Private companies own ~10%. The general public owns ~44%. This could easily pass by MTP shareholders.

Can't say the same for BTI. The general public owns ~98%. But then what? Is BTI able to continue on its own?
