RE:RE:RE:RE:How bashing affects GENM OK
(1) My point was about the volume and I think what I wrote was clear - volumes in the market can be expected to be low over the next 2 weeks for lots of stocks.
(2) I have made many comments about the bear market in juniors this year - against that backdrop GENM has not done too badly (not down this year nearly as much as many, many others) - that may be too Polly Annish for some people but I expect this company to have a producing and profitable mine and that's why I'm invested - the market is what it is - money has been tightened and that's always harder on smaller companies than large companies
(3) In this negative environment people are nervous and what they are nervous about with GENM is capital costs in this inflationary environment and financing (specifically how much - if any - equity may need to be raised in order to build the mine). Any company development that reduces that nervousness could have a strong and sudden positive effect on the short-term price.
(4) I think those who are short (and there is a short interest) are taking a big risk. I personally have never shorted a resource company stock but some people do - both for intra day moves and some as a longer term position. Short selling reduces prices and short covering increases prices.
(5) As we all know, Christmas is coming - maybe it's time for all of us to take some serious time off away from all the day to day fluctuations and see what 2023 brings to GENM in terms of Capex and financing news.
