RE:RE:RE:RE:i-Dialco AP.
Respect you as well. I doubt Mgt will confirm anything that is currently under discussion. Especially given their history.
So we have to rely on common sense and/or speculation.
If I'm Medtronics, or Braun, or Baxter, or DaVita, and I wanted to compete with one of the dominent dialysis clinic players like Fesenius (who uses the NxStage machines), I would seek out world-wide control over any new equipment that comes along that works as well or better, and that might in fact, change the game). Particularly if I already had a wide reaching distribution network in place. Ideally i'd want to own the whole enchilada or if not piece out the relevent Division. By comparision (to the big US players and Medtronics out of Dublin) Infomed is a relatively small Swiss Company.
We don't know what value the other two parties place on some of Spectral's ace cards:
- pre-existing Baxter relationships
- FDA relationships (via JK?)
- SAMI's will be needed for hemopurification (patented by Spectral worldwide)
- Sam Amory (who apparently hasn't gone anywhere yet)
- pre-existing customer ties (e.g ARC, VA, etc)
It's not as if Infomed has been selling DIMI's into Euprope in a big way...yet...that I know of. Though the UAE did give it a positive endorsement.
So while iDialco, in it's current form, "seems to " pertain only to NA, I suspect that could change as things progress.
