Our Whale, GDXJ added 1,781,000 shares

Our Whale, GDXJ added 1,781,000 sharesOn December 6th, rotax posted this link:

https://www.vaneck.com/us/en/investments/junior-gold-miners-etf-gdxj/holdings/

On that day, GDXJ had 4,205,773 shares and Aris was 0.30% of their holdings.

I took a gander at it today and GDXJ now owns 5,987,186 shares of Aris and their weighting is now 0.40%.  The Whale scooped up nearly 1.8 million shares.  I'd suspect GDXJ can't hold more than 5% of the outstanding shares of any company.  Hence, the limit with Aris is about another million shares they could get.

Yamana will be getting bought out and it is the largest holding in GDXJ at 6.10% with a present market value of $227 million.  GDXJ will have to rebalance.  It would be awesome if they dropped Kinross, which should be in the larger market cap index GDX.
